The General House cannot wait until October 6 to celebrate the opening of the Jubilee Year of the Bicentennial of the foundation of the Congregation. Among other things, members of the General Government and M. Lourdes Rossell will travel to Agra on October 3 to attend the opening ceremony and Missionary Encounter to be held in this city, which was the first one to welcome the Sisters of Jesus-Mary in their missionary epic in 1842.

For this reason, we, the General Government, Community of Via Nomentana and the group of students celebrated on the 21st September the feast with a prayer meeting and a fraternal dinner, sharing in depth our gratitude for “so much received”.

We also enjoyed two beautiful moments of encounter: with the teachers and with all the personnel of the school of Via Flaminia and of the General House. A reflection on the person of Claudine and her capacity for leadership, a woman who with her trust in God encourages us not to lose hope in times of difficulty, to always seek new paths, to give ourselves without reserve to the poorest, to forgive and to accept forgiveness…

A visit to the general archives, a coffee and a friendly talk have made us feel once more that we are part of the great family of Jesus-Mary.
